2. It looks like Rakis Productions is usually performing at large venues with large events; do you perform at smaller events?
Yes, we can accommodate both large and small dances and events.
3. Who will be the DJ at the dance?
When you choose Rakis Productions as your entertainment, you are guaranteed to have Niko as your DJ for the night. He may be accompanied by at least one other person, but he will be the head DJ.
4. Does Rakis Productions also perform at weddings?
Yes! We entertain at weddings, proms, other school dances, sweet 16s, and bar/bat mitzvahs.
5. Can you create a custom package?
Yes, we can customize packages based on what your needs are.
6. How far in advance should we book?
Rakis Productions begins booking school dances throughout the prior-year's dance time (April-June for proms and November for homecomings). We encourage you to set up a consultation with us as soon as you begin searching for your DJ to ensure availability.
7. What is a consultation? And is it necessary to have one?
A consultation is simply a meeting between Niko and the people responsible for putting together the school dance- this can include student government presidents, faculty advisors, and even principals. They can be held at the school or a local Panera or Starbucks location. Consultations are necessary; we discuss how Rakis Productions can create the best prom atmosphere with the services that we provide, while still sticking to the class budget.
8. Is your music edited?
Yes, all of our music is radio edited.
9. We need help finding other vendors- can you help us with that?
Yes! Niko has performed at venues across New England (and Canada) with hundreds of different vendors. He is able to plan your event from start to finish while referring you to the best vendors who will help complete the night!
10. What kind of music do you play?
Rakis Productions plays all kinds of music! Top 40s, country, hip hop, pop, rock, you name it- we have it! You can also request music online before your event and the night of!
